Burgundy & Red
If you buy one colour this autumn, make it red. Shop burgundy, bordeaux and cherry-red designer pieces, from knits and coats to bags and shoes.
The trend
Red carried over from spring and became the defining colour of Autumn/Winter 2026. It took centre stage in the menswear shows, while womenswear moved toward deep cherry, wine and scarlet, often worn head to toe or as a single strong accent.
How to wear it
The easiest way in is a red accessory against black or grey: a bag, a scarf or a pair of shoes. For more impact, try a burgundy knit with brown tailoring, or a red coat over a monochrome outfit.
